MerX .Network Scanner is a program that offers many features for a network.
It can find all the shares on a network. The results can be saved into a txt or HTML file. It also includes a chat client and a port scanner. By using this program, you will be able to resume the downloading of files in SMB and FTP shares. Network Scanner can also work in server mode, allowing other users to continue the interrupted download of the files listed on the server, no matter which computer was downloading them.
The program allows to connect to remote computers as a Guest user, or using a name and password combination. You can perform searches by category (music, movies, pictures, applications, images), or building a set of logical conditions. The program will search and then will inform the number of found files instantly.
You can, of course, search the files that you are downloading in your local computer. The "Network" tab will constantly inform you about your network´s activity, showing a graph and the amount of data being uploaded and downloaded. |
